You don’t need to be fast or experienced. You do need a desire to improve and a willingness to learn, commit to the process and put in purposeful effort toward your goals. Coaching meets you where you are, with training tailored to your development, ambitions and available time.
Whether your focus is running or training across swim, bike and run, we build a plan around what you want to achieve.
My Approach
Never Peak means believing there is always room to grow and become the best version of yourself, at any age. You may not yet have discovered what you are capable of. That possibility gives us a reason to look to the future, dream big and work toward goals that matter.
We turn that belief into action by taking ownership of our progress, building consistent habits and being willing to learn. With purposeful effort and people who challenge and support us, we can develop the capacity to pursue goals that may currently feel beyond reach.
Progress takes different forms throughout life—from discovering a sport to pursuing competitive goals or building the habits that keep you active for years to come. The aim is to pursue excellence in a way that strengthens your life and your ability to contribute to others.
My coaching combines scientific thinking, purposeful training and a commitment to the person behind the performance. Together, we identify meaningful goals and focus on the fundamentals that support lasting progress. Training is adapted to your experience, recovery and the realities of school, work and family life.
Commitment includes communicating honestly, respecting recovery and adapting when life changes. We work together to find the right balance of challenge and support.
My goal is to help you understand your training, develop confidence and build the skills to guide your progress—so that pursuing performance adds to your life and supports lasting enjoyment of sport.

My Journey into Triathlon
I wanted to become a triathlete long before I had the skills to be one.
As a young competitive track athlete, watching Ironman competitions on television sparked a dream that stayed with me. I was drawn to the challenge of bringing three disciplines together and finding out what I could become.
When I eventually began, the gap between that dream and my ability was clear. I couldn’t swim 50 metres continuously! I had never raced on a bike. My experience as a runner gave me a starting point, but I still had to become a beginner in unfamiliar disciplines.
Swimming became one of the clearest measures of my growth. I had to develop the skills, fitness and confidence to do something that initially felt beyond me. That progress took years of practice, patience and a willingness to keep learning.
Over seven years, I have halved my 400-metre swim time. I have gone from struggling to complete 50 metres to being the fastest swimmer in several triathlon events and I can complete the Ironman swim distance (3.8 km) in under 61 minutes.
Those numbers matter to me because I remember where I started. Swimming, once a barrier to entering the sport I dreamed about, became a strength.
My confidence on the bike grew through a progression of its own. In my first triathlon, I rode a Nakamura hybrid from Sport Chek. I later moved to a road bike, learned to ride with aero bars and eventually became confident on a time-trial bike. Each step brought new skills to learn and another opportunity to grow.
As my swimming, cycling and running developed together, I reached a level where I could compete with the best in the province. Looking back, that first hybrid bike is a reminder that you can begin with what you have and build your skills and confidence along the way.
That experience is at the heart of Never Peak Project. There was a version of me capable of those performances that I hadn’t yet discovered. Reaching it required a dream, consistent work and the willingness to learn before I could excel.
I carry that understanding into coaching. When an athlete tells me where they are today, I want to understand that starting point—and help them explore what might be possible from there.
